Inspiring the Inspired
Sometimes to get inspired is to be inspired. Look around you, there are many ordinary
things that we take for granted and don’t think twice about. You suddenly have a shift in perception, a
change of heart, and an idea perhaps; those are what you need to focus on. Not
I can’t, I won’t, there’s no time, in my next life, when I have the money…take
all of that garbage out of your mind.
Stop letting the can’ts, won’ts, shouldn’t’s get in your way. Start living life now. Start getting inspired. Start being inspired.
Maybe it’s a picture you saw, an article you read, a person
standing alone in the streets, a movie just filmed, a book just released, or
maybe it’s as simple as the way the sun reflects upon the lake just as it is setting. Or the piece of hair that falls onto
someone’s face ever so lightly. Or a
bird chirping happily at 5am when everyone else is trying to sleep. Listen carefully, watch thoroughly, and
enjoy. Enjoy it as though it is the
first time you laid eyes on it, the first time you heard it, the first time you
really felt it. Feel it over and
over. Let it inspire you. Let it touch you. Let it move you.
“Twenty years from now you will be more
disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so
throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in
your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover.” –Mark Twain
