Finding Your Person
Ahhh, yes we all want it, we may all have it but we don’t
realize they’re there. Sometimes it
takes us days, sometime weeks, sometimes even years to find your person. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a romance
we’re talking about, it could just mean your best friend. You know, the person you go to with every
situation, every heartbreak, every milestone, every “thing” that occurs in your life.
That person is the one who sees the good in the bad, the right in the
wrong, and the yes in the no. They are
the one who always has your best interest at heart.
It is imperative we all find our person. When you’re self-doubting or life changing
something, you need that person around to help bounce you in and out of
reality. You know at the end of the day
it does not matter what kind of crazy idea you have come up with that they love
you and accept you for it but even better, they help you plan it out.
So who is your person? Have you acknowledged that they are
your person? Do you thank them for being in your life and for being your
person? Don’t waste your time on those who cultivate negative pressure on you
or shut down your ideas or the “Debbie downers” of the parties. You need to surround yourself by positive
people and people who want to be in your life and want to make you feel like
you. We don’t need those people who
bring us down and make us seem our possible is now impossible. Find your person. Look them up, take a moment and really find
your person, you may even be lucky and find out your person is you.
“A friend is one who
knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have
become, and still, gently allows you to grow.” William Shakespeare
