Find Yourself
Isn't it incredible how years can pass us by and we forget who we originally were or who we wanted to be? We seem to let life pass us by instead of being, doing and believing who we really are. It can take years for us to figure out who we are. It seems as though we change like seasons do. We become dark during the long winter days and spirited during the summer cool breezes. Then there comes a time in your life where you start to ask yourself is this who I really am? Is this who I wanted to become? Who am I?
We start to dream about it at night time or our visions begin to create in our minds of what our life would look like if only. We start utilizing the if I had or the one day I will and begin to create this persona of ourselves of who we are going to be in the future and what our lives are going to look at. We fall asleep and wake up the next morning continuing on with our original lives we started years ago. Those thoughts we had before bed we have some how convinced ourselves that we were ridiculous for thinking them or we will worry about it tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and the days are still the same, the weeks go by and next thing we know we have hit the year mark and nothing has changed. We don't even flinch at the idea of changing as change scares most.
Fast forwarding into your futures you are elderly, frail and soft spoken sitting in your favorite rocking chair by the window. The sun is beating down and your grandchildren have come for their weekly visit. Silence stills the room until you softly speak the words I wish I had of or when I was younger I really wanted to.....
Time doesn't change what you really want. Time doesn't change who you really want to be. You change the time and decide to press snooze, It doesn't matter how old you are or how young you are do not press snooze anymore. Today is your day to start being who you really want to be. It is time to decide where you next path will take you. Which road will you choose? The same straight road ahead or the curvy incredible view like road?
Find yourself. Find out what you really enjoy doing. Find out what makes you happy. Find all of the things in your life and make them what you really want and need. The universe is yours. The universe will listen. All you have to do is just ask and believe. Trust in the process because there is no end there is only opportunity and happiness.
